Job Description

As a Site Instrumentation and Control Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, installation, testing, and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems on our client's site in Redcar. This is a challenging role that requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop instrumentation and control systems, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Install, test, and commission instrumentation and control systems, working collaboratively with colleagues and contractors.
  • Maintain and repair instrumentation and control systems, applying your knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles.
  • Develop risk assessments and method statements to ensure safe execution of tasks, aligning with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and clients, providing technical guidance and support as needed.
  • Participate in investigations, audits, and process improvements, contributing to the development of best practices and company-wide initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a 24/7 industrial setting.
  • Completed a degree in Engineering or a related field, or hold a recognized certification in instrumentation and control engineering.
  • Familiarity with HASAWA, EAWR, and DSEAR regulations, with the ability to apply them in practice.

Salary and Benefits
