We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team at a leading construction business. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in maximizing profit, value, and opportunity while fostering key relationships internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities:
- To develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain management plan that aligns with the company's strategic objectives.
- To lead the strategies for contracts and bids, identifying risks and opportunities to drive business growth.
- To manage relationships with preferred supply chain partners, ensuring seamless collaboration and mutual benefit.
- To represent the business and fulfill client commitments, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- To drive financial targets and ensure procurement compliance, analyzing data to inform strategic decisions.
- To provide visibility at events, communicating key supply chain and procurement activities to stakeholders.
- Performance Management: Analyze feedback, identify trends, and recommend improvements to optimize supply chain performance.
- To develop performance league tables and compile compliance reports, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
- To present recommendations to enhance performance and engagement, influencing supply chain partners for cost reduction and performance improvement.
- Communication and Influence: Regularly communicate with subcontractors and suppliers to improve performance, influencing key stakeholders to drive business outcomes.
Essential Experience:
- Proven knowledge of facilities management and relevant processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to navigate complex supply chain dynamics.
- Knowledge of various forms of contract and commercial management information, with the ability to analyze data to inform strategic decisions.
- Familiarity with COINS is desirable, as is MCIPS qualification.
- A full UK driver's license is required for this role.
