About the Role

As Finance Director, you'll be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing robust financial processes to support the company's growth trajectory.
  • Leading the preparation for due diligence and the financial aspects of a future sale or acquisition.
  • Overseeing statutory reporting, tax filings, and external auditor relationships.
  • Implementing scalable controls and financial procedures to align with the company's rapid expansion.
  • Managing cash flow forecasting and reporting, ensuring liquidity and financial health.
  • Leading the budgeting and forecasting processes, supporting the executive team with strategic financial insights.
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and maintaining the integrity of financial reports.
  • Overseeing monthly close processes and internal management reporting.
  • Working on ad hoc financial projects tied to the company's growth and long-term goals.
Your Profile

You'll be an ideal candidate if you have:

  • A formal accountancy qualification (e.g., ACA, CIMA, CA).
  • Proven experience as a Finance Director or senior finance leader, ideally within a high-growth tech or AI-driven business.
  • A strong background in preparing businesses for sale or M&A processes.
  • Exceptional skills in building and optimising financial controls in a fast-paced, disruptive environment.
  • The ability to manage relationships with senior stakeholders, including investors and external advisors.
  • Strong leadership skills and the capacity to drive finance strategy in line with business goals.
Compensation and Benefits
