About the Company:
A medium-sized and well-established multi-disciplinary construction consultancy based in the South West of England is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team. With a strong track record in developing and mentoring their staff, they have a diverse and inclusive work environment.
About the Role:
The successful Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing construction costs, preparing tendering documents, and administering contracts. They will also provide a personal service to well-established clients across multiple sectors, including public and private.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cost management to ensure projects remain within budget
- Preparing tendering documents
- Providing alternative solutions with restricted budgets
- Contract administration
- Providing a personal service to clients
About the Requirements:
To be successful, the Quantity Surveyor must have a strong understanding of the role within a consultancy environment. A RICS-accredited degree is preferred, and a desire to become chartered through RICS is essential. Exceptional client-facing skills and the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels are also required.
About the Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this role is up to £65,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. The company offers a generous pension contribution, annual leave entitlement, and career progression opportunities. Subscriptions are also paid for.
