About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Conservation Graduate to join our team. As a Conservation Graduate, you will play a key role in supporting our conservation activities and contributing to the success of our team.
Key responsibilities will include maintaining up-to-date records on GIS, utilizing data to inform the wider business of conservation information, and providing administrative support to our Branch Out grant scheme. You will also be responsible for collating stories from across the Environment & Sustainability Team for internal and external communications, promoting awareness of environmental issues and the action required to address them.
As part of this role, you will support on small conservation projects, including supporting your Conservation team leader with administration of the WINEP (Water Industry National Environment Programme). You will also support conservation team members with seasonal ecological site surveys and maintenance of the survey data matrix.
About You
We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about nature and the environment, with proven communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively and build positive working relationships. You will be able to partner collaboratively with teams, using your organizational skills to plan, coordinate, and deliver to timescales. You will be well-versed in following processes and procedures.
The successful candidate will work outdoors in all weathers, across varied terrain, with some manual handling and lone working required.
