Educational Historian

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Educational Historian to join our team at Wayman Learning Trust in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be passionate about education and have a proven track record of delivering excellent teaching across KS4 and KS5.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the national curriculum and its application in class, as well as excellent classroom management skills with the ability to engage and motivate learners. A recognized qualification in teaching, preferably a Bachelor's degree in Education or any relevant field, is essential.

**Responsibilities:**

• Plan and deliver exciting and engaging lessons that challenge and inspire secondary students to reach their full potential
• Monitor and assess students' progress and keep regular records of academic performance
• Create a positive learning environment that is both safe and conducive for learning
• Collaborate with school management, teaching staff, and parents to provide quality academic support for Secondary students

**Requirements:**

• QTS or equivalent
• Degree in relative field (A Subject of Specialism)
• Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to engage and motivate learners
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with parents, staff, and students

The salary for this position will be paid to scale on a permanent contract following the MPS/UPS pay scale within the National pay scale. This role offers numerous opportunities for progression and career development.
