Job Overview

Radar Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to join a growing manufacturing business at an exciting time. As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain at a local and regional level, driving growth and modernizing the supply chain function.

We are looking for a commercially minded and customer-focused professional with a strong analytical background. You will be responsible for actively monitoring and managing supplier performance, developing and implementing supplier metrics, and leading best practices within the planning and supply processes.

The ideal candidate will have extensive supply chain management experience within a manufacturing, engineering, operations, and/or distribution environment. You will be a strategic thinker with a strong ability to provide leadership to a growing supply chain team and work closely with the procurement function to negotiate with external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing supplier metrics to evaluate and drive performance.
  • Leading and encouraging best practice within the planning and supply processes to achieve continuous improvement, complexity reduction, and efficiencies.
  • Working closely with the procurement function to negotiate with external stakeholders, manufacturers, and suppliers.
  • Managing the end-to-end process in relation to raw materials and finished goods, providing key insights into stock availability and inventory levels, and supply forecasts.
  • Providing strategic input into material, distribution, and production planning across the business.
