Secondary Education IT Instructor

Academics Ltd is currently seeking a Secondary Education IT Instructor to join our team at a specialist SEMH secondary school in Liverpool. This is a fixed-term maternity cover position starting in March 2025.
The ideal candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, specialization in Computer Science or a related subject, and experience working with students with SEMH needs. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and accessible lessons to students aged 11-16, adapting your teaching methods to meet the needs of students with SEMH, and creating a supportive classroom environment.
You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our dedicated staff team to develop individual education plans (IEPs), inspire students to develop their digital literacy and programming skills, and contribute to the development of a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
We offer a competitive salary of £38,000 - £48,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications, as well as access to professional development tailored to working in SEMH settings and the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' lives.
