Job Title: SEN Outreach Tutor

Prospero Teaching is seeking a qualified and experienced Tutor to provide educational support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a 1:1 setting.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Tutor with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent to work with students who have been out of mainstream education for some time. The successful candidate will need to assess the students' current ability and reintroduce education into their routine, while a suitable school provision is found.

The Tutor will work with students who have a diagnosis of Autism, ADHD, and other SEN, providing Maths and English support on a 1:1 basis. Lessons will take place in a local Library or the student's home.

Requirements:
  • QTS or equivalent
  • Experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils
  • UK classroom teaching experience
  • Ability to think creatively and work outside the box
