We are a friendly and experienced team, committed to delivering excellent patient care. Our Haematology unit has the Myeloma UK CSEP accreditation, and we work closely with colleagues in the multidisciplinary team to ensure that patients receive tailored care that meets their individual needs.
Main Responsibilities- Deliver specialist care and education to patients diagnosed with multiple myeloma throughout their treatment journey.
- Act as a key worker, offering personalized support and advice on managing symptoms, treatment plans, and overall well-being.
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary team discussions, ensuring holistic care is provided.
- Educate and train staff, patients, and their families about multiple myeloma and the latest advancements in treatments.
- Run nurse-led clinics after achieving all required competencies.
- Participate in research, clinical trials, and audits to improve patient outcomes.
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
- Significant experience (minimum 5 years) in oncology or haematology, or a similar specialist area with at least 12 months at Band 6 in the same area.
We offer a competitive salary of £41,787 - £56,445 per annum, depending on experience.
