About the Role

We are seeking a talented English teacher to join our dynamic and successful English Faculty. As a part-time, temporary English Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching English to KS3 and KS4 students, as well as A Level English Literature and A Level English Language.

The successful candidate will be passionate about their subject and committed to maintaining high standards. You will be involved in the wider life of our school and will have the opportunity to develop new skills in a school with a compelling vision and deep commitment to providing exceptional teaching and learning.

About the School

St Mary Redcliffe and Temple School (SMRT) is a successful and heavily oversubscribed 11-18 co-educational, Church of England, comprehensive school of over 1750 students. We are located at the heart of the city and have a diverse student community with considerable parental support.

Our school was judged outstanding by Ofsted in 2015 and by SIAMS in 2017. We are a forward-looking school with a relentless focus on providing the absolute best provision so that no child is left behind.
