Job Title: Chief People Officer

Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Chief People Officer to join our team. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic workforce plans to ensure we have the right people with the right skills in place to deliver excellent patient care. This will involve working closely with our Director of HR to drive business improvement initiatives and develop effective people strategies that support our Trust's vision and goals.

Main Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement strategic workforce plans to meet the needs of our services* Lead on talent management and succession planning to ensure continuity and capability within the Trust* Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address recruitment and retention challenges* Analyze data to inform decision-making and improve people practices* Embed a culture of equality, diversity, and inclusion across the Trust* Oversee the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to HR

Requirements:
* Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field (e.g., HR, business, or social sciences)* Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the NHS or healthcare sector* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues at all levels* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a senior leadership team* Knowledge of current HR trends, best practices, and legislation* Chartered Member of CIPD (MCIPD) or equivalent qualification desirable* Experience with Electronic Staff Record, NHS Jobs, E-rostering, Trac, and Allocate for Medic's systems beneficial* Demonstrated commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion, with experience of promoting a positive workplace culture.
