Job Title: Pharmacist Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist Manager to join our team at Rowlands Pharmacy. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our pharmacy, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care and adherence to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and oversee the pharmacy team, providing guidance, support, and training as needed
  2. Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines
  3. Provide medication counselling and support to patients, answering their questions and addressing concerns
  4. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
  5. Conduct medication reviews and ensure safe and effective medication management
  6. Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory
  7. Provide immunization services (where applicable)
  8. Offer advice on over-the-counter medications and healthcare products
  9. Actively participate in health promotion and public health initiatives

Requirements:

  1. Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  2. Proven experience in a Community pharmacy setting with management experience preferred
  3. Strong commitment to patient care and safety
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  5. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  6. Up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical products and healthcare trends
  7. A flexible and positive approach to problem-solving
