Back-End Software Engineer

H&R Talent is seeking an experienced Back-End Software Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis with Hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of innovative distributed software within the cryptocurrency ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated engineering team focused on swift product delivery and continuous iteration, directly impacting millions of users.
  • Advocate for best practices, emphasizing code quality, test coverage, and active participation in technical discussions.
  • Build scalable services, addressing challenges like synchronization, asynchronous operations, database optimisations, scalability, and system reliability.
  • Gain hands-on experience with various technologies such as Kafka, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, etc.
  • Enhance existing systems for scalability, extensibility, and performance.
  • Prioritize security by implementing advanced encryption schemes to safeguard user and company data.
Requirements:
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of at least one programming language.
  • Over a year of experience in languages like Java, Kotlin, or Scala.
  • Ability to construct, debug, and deploy microservices.
  • Experience in building and deploying highly-available, fault-tolerant, and production-ready distributed backend systems.
  • Active engagement in the creation of product and software specifications before implementation.
  • Leadership skills to inspire fellow engineers to excel in their work.
  • Solid understanding of data structures, databases, and large-scale distributed systems.
  • Exposure to technologies such as PostgreSQL, Kafka, Grafana, BigQuery, ApacheSpark, among others.
