Product Executive Job Description

A unique opportunity has arisen for a Product Executive to join a well-established company in Cheshire, specializing in the luxury travel market. If you have a background in tour operations and possess outstanding destination knowledge, this role may be the perfect fit for you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Product Manager in selecting and contracting product portfolios for designated destinations, including negotiation of marketing contributions and exclusive offers.
  • Maintain effective supplier relationships and ensure that identified products are on sale according to agreed time frames.
  • Monitor the quality of products on sale within portfolios and resolve any quality issues that may occur.
  • Identify product training needs and contribute to the delivery of training.
  • Attend relevant trade shows to maintain relationships with suppliers and contacts.
  • Research new destinations and negotiate contracts.
  • Plan and organize familiarization trips and attend/lead them as required.
  • Assist in resolving client/resort issues and support the contract loading team when needed.
  • Coordinate and edit the company's website with up-to-date, accurate content, images, and information on products being sold.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in the travel industry, with experience in a product role being highly desirable.
  • Excellent relationship management skills, with experience of supplier management and contract negotiations being desirable.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize workloads and adapt to changing internal and external environments.
  • Good knowledge of Caribbean and European destinations is essential.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel.
  • Knowledge of Dolphin Dynamics reservations system (Preferred).
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
