Job Title: Cleaning Operations Manager

We are seeking a skilled Cleaning Operations Manager to join our team at Churchill's Make Ready division. Our division provides specialist vehicle preparation and station cleaning services within the Ambulance service, including infection prevention control, technology, auditing, and training.

As a Cleaning Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple sites in the Kent area, including Ashford, Dartford, Sheppy, and Medway, with a mobile workforce team to ensure cleaning standards are met and maintained to a high level.

You will use your strong interpersonal skills to support and develop your team, ensuring that no two days are the same. Your excellent communication and people management skills will be essential in maintaining strong client relationships and providing high levels of satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining strong client relationships and providing high levels of satisfaction
  • Managing, recruiting, and coaching local service teams
  • Carrying out ad-hoc and regular activities, such as projects, reports, and audits, as required by and to support the Operations Manager
  • Holding regular contract and specification review meetings with customers
  • Ensuring Health & Safety procedures and legislation are adhered to
  • Looking for opportunities for continuous improvement, cost savings, and account growth

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and people management skills
  • Experience with financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis
  • Working knowledge of Health and Safety systems in the cleaning industry
  • Ability to work to tight timescales
  • Experience working with education clients previously would be highly desirable
  • Passionate, flexible, trustworthy, and innovative
