We are seeking a skilled Site Maintenance Specialist to join our team at The Compleat Food Group in Milton Keynes. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance work to ensure the reliability, efficiency, and safety of our factory and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend and diagnose breakdown repairs in a timely and cost-effective manner to ensure production targets are met.
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance, including facilities and fabrication of the site, to avoid production disruption.
  • Communicate technical and operational issues to relevant departments.
  • Maintain documentation to provide records of breakdowns and PPMs throughout the department using CMMS system.
  • Promote and ensure safe working practices, ensuring H&S is never compromised.
  • Identify and participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives with a logical approach to engineering and operational issues, adhering to legal compliance within the engineering function.
  • Help to identify spares requirements and maintain stock levels as needed.
  • Carry out work without jeopardy to food safety or legality.
  • Achieve daily service levels around external and internal customer requirements and ensure the site is compliant to audit standards.
  • Involvement with a number of projects from machinery upgrades to building work.
Requirements
  • FMCG/Food manufacturing experience.
  • Packaging machines experience.
  • Food Hygiene Level 2.
  • HACCP trained Level 2.
  • 18th Edition Electrical Qualified.
  • Energetic and enthusiastic.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Flexible attitude.
  • Team worker.
