Job Title: Academic Quality Assurance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Academic Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Fawkes and Reece. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain a Quality Management System to ISO 9001 and contract requirements
  • Establish self-certification processes and effective ways of monitoring this efficiently
  • Provide training for Quality processes to team members
  • Manage team performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Compile quality records and analyze trends to identify causes and ways of improvement
  • Manage audit processes and review quality management systems
  • Produce information and dashboards for reviews
Requirements:
  • Quality Assurance Management experience on a London Underground/Network Rail project
  • Degree-qualified or equivalent extensive experience within a Quality role
  • Excellent English verbal and written skills
  • Practical experience of developing, implementing, and improving quality management systems to ISO 9001
  • Member of Chartered Quality Institute or an appropriate engineering institute
  • Competent auditor
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to plan ahead and manage their own time
  • Able to encourage and motivate people of all levels

This is a freelance/perm position on a long-term major project, and preferably, you should have a strong civil background. Salary for this role is competitive and offers an employee benefits package.
