Empowering Learning is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with complex needs in a vibrant SEND school in Sale, Trafford.
About the RoleAs a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and personal development of special needs children. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing one-on-one assistance to students with special needs.
- Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to create tailored learning plans.
- Fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assisting with daily activities, personal care, and promoting independence.
We are looking for an individual who:
- Has experience working with special needs children (preferred but not essential).
- Is passionate about creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Has strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Is patient, empathetic, and has a positive attitude.
- Has an Enhanced DBS on Update Service or is committed to applying.
