About the Role:
As a Teacher of Science, you will be responsible for teaching science subjects to students across various age groups. You will also have opportunities to specialize at KS5 and contribute to extracurricular science activities. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics and be able to create engaging lessons that spark students' interest and expand their understanding of the natural world.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teaching and Lesson Planning: Develop and deliver high-quality lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics to students across various age groups.
  • Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Assess student progress, identify areas of improvement, and develop strategies to enhance student understanding.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with colleagues to develop and implement a comprehensive science curriculum that meets educational standards.

Requirements:
  • Qualifications: A qualified Teacher of Science (QTS preferred) with a solid understanding of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
  • Skills and Experience: Good classroom management skills, a commitment to creating a dynamic and supportive learning environment, and experience in teaching science subjects to students across various age groups.

Estimated Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
