About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team as a Major Project Partner for Terminal 2 - The Queen's Terminal. As a key member of our commercial and procurement team, you will play a crucial role in drafting subcontracts and ensuring compliance with company governance and contract-specific requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Subcontract Negotiation and Contract Drafting: You will be responsible for negotiating and drafting subcontracts, ensuring that they meet the company's requirements and are in line with industry standards.
  2. Procurement Experience: With a strong background in procurement, you will be able to identify and secure the best value outcomes for the company.
  3. NEC Contracts: You will have a good understanding of NEC Contracts and be able to apply this knowledge to ensure compliance and effective contract management.
  4. Commercial Acumen: As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be expected to demonstrate strong commercial acumen, with the ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions.
  5. Team Collaboration: You will work closely with the commercial and procurement team to ensure that all contracts are managed effectively and that the company's governance requirements are met.
Requirements
  1. RICS/CICES Accredited Degree: You will hold a RICS/CICES accredited degree and be nearing completion of Full Membership with RICS/CICES.
  2. Minimum 5 Years Post-Graduate Experience: You will have a minimum of 5 years post-graduate commercial experience in the construction industry, with a demonstrable track record of achievement.
  3. Extensive Experience in Contract Management: You will have extensive experience in contract management, including subcontract negotiation, contract drafting, and procurement.
  4. Strong Communication Skills: You will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively and communicate complex information to stakeholders.
