As a Mental Health Activity Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the stay of patients in our hospital by organizing and delivering a range of recreational activities. Working closely with the Occupational Therapy team, you will help create a welcoming environment that promotes independence, recovery, and well-being.

Responsibilities will include providing timely feedback to the multi-disciplinary team regarding the patients' wellbeing and motivation to engage in recreational sessions. You will use technical/creative skills to engage patients in meaningful and appropriate activities, under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.

To succeed in this role, you should have facilitation and group-work experience, as well as good communication skills, written and verbal. Basic problem-solving and clinical judgement skills are also essential. We offer a permanent full-time contract, competitive salary of £25,329-£26,958 per annum pro rata (+ 5% fringe HCAS included), and the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our patients.
