Procurement Planning Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Planning Specialist to join our team at Saint-Gobain Abrasives. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for coordinating demand and inventory needs across Northern Europe and the UK.
As a Commercial Supply Chain Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate demand forecasting, cost reduction, and improved customer satisfaction through better product availability and service levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and conduct demand reviews up to the level of key account
- Be responsible for the month-end forecast cleansing process within Futurmaster software
- Implement small-mid customer-driven projects, including SRF, range reviews, or implementing new customer requirements
- Set up SAP Material Master for new product introductions
- Support the implementation of a World Class Manufacturing (WCM)/Lean culture within the UK Supply Chain and Warehouse teams
- Analyze supply chain cost and efficiency
- Complete complex pieces of analysis across all aspects of the supply chain
- Coordinate vendor performance improvements
- Support Head of Customer Experience and Supply Chain in Internal Business Control adherence and external business systems compliance
- Produce, monitor, and make recommendations on departmental KPIs
- Produce relevant management information, including reports
