About the Role

We are seeking a Salaried GP to join our team in Gillingham, Kent. This is a 4-session role, working across Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, with one later finish at 8PM.

Practice Details

The practice has a list size of circa 5,000 and is well regarded locally. The workload is extremely well managed, with 14 AM and 10 PM pre-booked consultations. Home visits are low due to the home visiting service attached to the PCN.

Team and Support

The practice has a multi-disciplinary team of 2 GP Partners, 1 salaried GP, 2 Practice Nurses, HCA, and Phlebotomist. The clinical team is supported by our experienced admin team, led by a Practice Manager and Assistant Practice Manager.

Clinical Support

GPs have access to a number of clinical and non-clinical support staff provided by the PCN, including Clinical Pharmacists, physiotherapists, and social prescribing team. The surgery also houses ultrasound services and a Mental Health nurse clinic.

Package and Benefits

The package includes:

  • Up to £11,500 per session per annum
  • Indemnity covered
  • 6 weeks annual leave pro rata
  • 1 week CPD leave pro rata
  • NHS pension enrolment
  • Contract largely in line with the BMA model contract
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must be a registered GP with the GMC, possess the right to work in the UK, and be included on the NHS performers list.
