About the Role

Vision Norfolk is seeking an experienced and dynamic Fundraising Manager to lead and shape our fundraising efforts. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to lead on innovative and transformative fundraising initiatives that will make a lasting impact on the lives of people with a vision impairment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to meet the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, corporate partners, and community groups.
  • Identify and pursue new funding opportunities, including grants, trusts, and major gifts.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective fundraising campaigns.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to the senior management team on fundraising progress and performance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in fundraising, preferably in a charity or non-profit organization.
  • Strong knowledge of fundraising principles, practices, and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on results and delivery.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
