Job Title: Group Accountant

Genuit Group plc is a leading provider of sustainable water, climate, and ventilation products for the built environment. As a Group Accountant, you will play a critical role in supporting the company's financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce high-quality financial reports, including consolidated monthly management accounts and finance packs, to support business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the tax team and advisors to ensure accurate and timely reporting of share-based payment schemes.
  • Liaise with finance teams across the Group to validate monthly results and manage issue resolutions.
  • Work closely with the Group auditors to ensure subsidiary audits are completed on time and key deadlines are met.
  • Assist in the preparation of the Group Annual Report and Accounts, trading statements, interim reports, and investor presentations.
  • Oversee the preparation of subsidiary statutory accounts, from start to finish, working closely with the Company Secretarial team.
  • Contribute to the development of a robust financial control framework, implementing procedures, processes, and controls to drive efficiency and accuracy.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to drive automation and efficiency.
  • Support the development of the current reporting suite to dashboard analytics.
  • Prepare draft monthly forecasts and annual budgets for Group payroll and share-based payments, including valuation of new schemes.
  • Assist in managing and collating the annual consolidated Group budget and five-year plan, along with associated reporting packs.
  • Lead on ad-hoc project work across the Reporting team.
Requirements:
  • ACA or ACCA qualification or equivalent.
  • Strong technical accounting skills with experience of working within a high-performing team.
  • Highly numerate with the ability to analyze and evaluate information, with high attention to detail.
  • Confident and credible in dealing with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Well-organized and efficient with a 'right first time' approach to quality of work.
  • Consistently positive attitude and a 'can-do' approach.
  • Computer and IT literate with advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience of consolidation or accounts preparation software an advantage but not essential.
