Liver Transplant Service Lead

We are seeking an exceptional Liver Transplant Service Lead to join our dynamic team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our transplant program, you will provide expert leadership and coordination of liver transplant services, ensuring seamless patient care from pre-transplant to post-transplant.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the liver transplant team, providing strategic direction and operational oversight.
- Coordinate care for patients on the waiting list, working closely with multidisciplinary teams.
- Develop and implement clinical guidelines, promoting best practices in liver transplant care.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including NHS Blood & Transplant and Human Tissue Authority standards.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience as a Liver Transplant Coordinator (Band 8a).
- Advanced knowledge of liver disease and transplantation, with expertise in leading and managing complex cases.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate with clinicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Salary: £70,387 - £80,465 per annum, including HCA.
