About the Role:
  • As a Trade Counter Assistant and Driver, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to new and existing customers.
  • You will work closely with the Branch Manager and Branch Supervisor to achieve sales targets and confidently communicate product knowledge to customers.
  • Key responsibilities include picking, loading, and delivering products to customers using 5-tonne flatbed trucks and LWB vans.
  • You will also be responsible for route planning, safe driving, and maintaining the Company vehicle clean.
  • Additionally, you will support the Branch Manager with actions and activities on time, in full, and ensure compliance with Health and Safety, company policies, and procedures.
Requirements:
  • A full driving license is essential for this role.
  • Previous retail, trades, or construction experience with a focus on customer support, communication, and excellent interpersonal skills is desirable.
  • You will be working as part of a small committed team in an interesting and growing marketplace.
