Job Overview

The RADAR Controls Analyst is a developing professional role within the Risk and Data Analytics Reporting Team at Citigroup Global Markets Limited. This position involves working independently to solve complex problems, integrating in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and diplomacy skills to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to projects throughout all phases of the project lifecycle, including Requirements Specification, UAT Testing, and Rollout and Post Production Checkouts. This will involve understanding, creating, and enhancing global Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Feed Specification Documents, as well as assisting in the liaison between Technology and Business Stakeholders. Additionally, the candidate will extract and analyze large datasets from relational databases to fulfill stakeholders' requirements, create and execute UAT test plans, and assist with users to obtain sign off during the UAT phase. The candidate will also act as a point of contact for Technology partners and contribute to project rollout and post production checkouts to ensure successful project closure.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience as a Business analyst or in Investment Banking Operations or IT, with a strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are also essential. The candidate should be able to work together with regional and global stakeholders to execute on program deliverables and share status updates. Knowledge of Capital Markets and/or Operations/Trade life-cycle is a plus. The candidate should be comfortable analyzing data from numerous disparate source systems and large datasets, and be able to facilitate calls internally and with mid-level stakeholders. Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities, as well as the ability to multi-task and take ownership of small-to-medium projects tasks and change initiatives, are also required. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the use of Logical, Data, and Text functions, are necessary to manipulate and analyze large datasets. Effective use of Word and PowerPoint to create outstanding documentation is also essential. Basic working knowledge of data warehouse and experience of MicroStrategy is highly desirable, as is working knowledge of JIRA. QlikView and/or Tableau knowledge is advantageous, and experience writing SQL queries is a plus.
