Gap Personnel is seeking a skilled Production/FLT Operator to join a dynamic team in a well-established manufacturing facility.

A vacancy has arisen in the Production department for a Counter Balance driver due to staff turnover.

The successful candidate will report to the Production Manager and be responsible for:

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Loading and offloading goods with precision and efficiency.
  • Moving stock to designated storage locations and factory areas.
  • Operating various pallet handling machinery, including pallet trucks, reach trucks, and pallet wrappers.
  • Maintaining a high level of cleanliness and safety by adhering to all relevant safety and housekeeping procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance with COSHH regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices at all times.

**Essential Qualifications and Experience**

  • Previous experience working in a production environment.
  • A strong understanding and commitment to health and safety and housekeeping protocols.
  • A good understanding and attitude towards quality control.
  • A flexible and adaptable attitude, with a willingness to work varied shifts.

**Desirable Qualifications and Experience**

  • A valid FLT Counter Balance license.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.

This is a weekly-paid position, offering 40 hours of work per week, with opportunities for overtime. The basic hourly rate of pay is £11.55, with a free lunch provided.
