Band 6 Nursing Management Opportunity

The Surgical Trauma Assessment Unit (STAU) and Same Day Emergency Care unit (SDEC) are dynamic and fast-paced environments that require highly skilled and motivated nurses to deliver exceptional patient care. As a Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse, you will play a key role in leading and managing the nursing team, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care and treatment.
">Main Duties- Assessing and treating patients with surgical/trauma & orthopaedic/ENT/maxilla-facial conditions.
- Leading by example, demonstrating excellent leadership and clinical skills to motivate and inspire your team.
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve patient outcomes and enhance the quality of care provided.
- Nurse In Charge of either STAU or SDEC, coordinating the care of patients, accepting referrals, and managing the nursing team.
- A current NMC registration.
- Relevant post-registration qualifications and experience in surgical nursing.
- Leadership and management experience, with a proven track record of success.
- An ability to work effectively under pressure and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
We offer a competitive salary range of £38,890 - £44,503 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional development and career progression.
