Forklift Service Engineer Job Description

A leading brand in the supply and maintenance of fork lift truck machinery across the UK and abroad is seeking a skilled Forklift Service Engineer. The company offers a comprehensive service and maintenance package to multiple clients, focusing on various fork lift trucks and other material handling equipment.

What We Offer:

  • £30,261 - £39,907 Salary (plus overtime potential)
  • Day Shifts: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (40 hour week)
  • 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

  • Company Van Provided + Fuel
  • Field Service Role covering the Chester Area (CH, CW, and LL Postcodes)

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Repair and maintain Fork lift trucks and other site MHE
  2. Carry out after-sales repair work
  3. Perform routine maintenance with customers to achieve service levels
  4. Plan and organize tasks efficiently

Requirements:

  • Strong background in Plant industry essential
  • Experience with diagnostic tools and computer software (including engine diagnostics)
  • Valid Full UK Driving Licence
  • Ex-forces or motor trade experience considered
