Care Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Dalgety Bay Care Home. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and mobility support.
  • Support residents with their daily routines, including meal support, medication management, and social activities.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and supportive care environment.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge in elderly care.
Requirements:
  • SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) is preferred.
  • 6 months of experience as a Care Assistant (or equivalent) is ideal, but we welcome applicants with transferable skills and a passion for working with the elderly.
  • A genuine interest in elderly care and a commitment to excellent service.
  • Integrity, respect, and strong teamwork are essential for success in this role.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive hourly rate of £12.10.
  • 38.5 hours per week (contracted).
  • A £500 Welcome bonus (paid after 6 months upon passing probation).
  • Pension.
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (full-time contract).
  • Paid PVG.
  • Onsite parking.
  • Uniform provided.
