Position: Clinical Podiatrist

Type: Part-time (2-3 days per week)

Setting: Clinical and Domiciliary

Pay: £30 per hour

Medineeds Health & Wellness is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Podiatrist to join our team of specialists in a part-time capacity. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and managing a complex podiatric caseload, as well as consulting with patients and communicating effectively with a passion for clinical excellence and high standards of patient care.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assess and diagnose patients with complex podiatric conditions
  2. Consult with patients and utilize relevant referral pathways
  3. Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues
  4. Engage in continual professional development
  5. Develop own practice and the range of Podiatry treatments offered
  6. Maintain RCPOD/HCPC registration and comply with relevant professional guidelines
  7. Take personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work
  8. Adapt to changing needs and conditions
  9. Build and maintain patient satisfaction
  10. Promote cooperation and commitment within the team
  11. Provide feedback and implement suggestions to improve daily running and efficiency
  12. Involvement with clinical audit process
  13. Strict confidentiality to be always adhered to
  14. Total dedication and commitment to the post

Special Requirements:

  1. BSc (Hons) Podiatric Medicine and Surgery
  2. Membership with Royal College of Podiatry
  3. Registration with Health Care Professions Council
  4. Local Anaesthetic Certificate
  5. Basic Life Support Certificate
  6. At least 2 years' post-graduate experience as a Podiatrist
  7. Evidence of appropriate and continued post-graduate training
  8. Excellent communication, interpersonal, time management, and organisational skills
  9. Good IT Skills
  10. Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate
