Aquent seeks a highly skilled Creative Art Director to lead the development of innovative visual communications for our prestigious clients in Wimbledon.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in graphic design, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality designs that exceed client expectations.

This role involves overseeing the brand identity and aesthetic of multiple companies within our corporation, working closely with the Director of Communications and the Marcomms team to create engaging collateral and assets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Admissions department in creating visually appealing materials
  • Managing multiple projects across various platforms, ensuring consistency and integration
  • Developing effective designs that meet objectives (brochures, programs, flyers, magazine, graphics, displays, signage, social media posts, website pages, infographics)
  • Providing art direction for photoshoots and undertaking photo editing and retouching when required
  • Liaising with stakeholders to ensure clear briefings and expectations
  • Maintaining brand guidelines adoption across the institution by colleagues, pupils, and parents
  • Developing good relationships with suppliers
  • Overseeing internal and external designers to ensure consistency of brand and quality delivery

Requirements include:

  • Proficiency in InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Knowledge of printing processes, paper stocks, and finishes
  • Extensive knowledge of graphic design principles, styles, techniques, and applications
  • Excellent attention to detail, customer service skills, and ability to read market trends
  • FIRST CLASS organisational and administrative skills, ability to remain calm under pressure and work to tight deadlines
  • Ability to use initiative appropriately, be flexible, and build strong relationships with colleagues

Estimated salary: £52,000 - £62,000 per annum.
