Primary Intervention Tutor Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Primary Intervention Tutor to join our team at an outstanding school in Tower Hamlets. As a Primary Intervention Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver targeted interventions for small groups of pupils with SEN and SEMH needs
  • Work closely with qualified SEN professionals, Speech and Language Therapists, and Educational Psychologists to develop and implement effective support strategies
  • Use your excellent communication skills to build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture
Requirements:
  • First-Class degree from a Russell Group University
  • Previous experience working with young people, preferably in an educational setting
  • Passion for supporting pupils with SEN and SEMH needs
  • Excellent communication, patience, and resilience
