Job Title: Deck Crew Member

We are seeking an experienced Deck Crew Member to join our team at Team Recruitment Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Deck Foreman with rigging and lifting operations, handling stores, and carrying out HLO duties associated with safe helicopter operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Deck Foreman with rigging and lifting operations.
  • Handle stores to and from supply vessels and within the installation.
  • Carry out HLO duties associated with safe helicopter operations.
  • Assist with the mooring and unmooring of shuttle tankers.
  • Assist with the operation of cargo and ballast systems.
  • Maintain all cargo handling equipment, pumps, valves, etc.
  • Perform general planned maintenance of all deck machinery and equipment.
  • Routine maintenance and repair of accommodation fittings.
  • Ensure stocks of spares for cargo equipment and accommodation are maintained.
  • Carry out manual checks of tank levels and sampling.
  • Fabric maintenance, including mechanical preparation and application of paint.
  • Keep the Deck Foreman advised of usage and re-order requirements of deck consumables.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working on FPSO's.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Combined Offshore Survival, Fire Fighting and HUET Certificate.
  • MIST.
  • Oil & Gas UK Offshore Medical Certificate.
  • Oil & Gas UK Certificate of Fitness to Participate in Emergency Response Team Duties.
  • Offshore Crane Operator (Stage 3)G.
  • Isolating Authority.
  • Offshore Helicopter Landing Officer.
  • CAA Offshore Operator.
  • GMDSS or VHF Radio Ops.
  • Electronic Permit to Work Performing Authority.
  • Authorised Gas Tester.
  • Rigger Stage 1.
  • Banksman/ Slinger.
  • Offshore Emergency Helideck Team Member.
  • Offshore Emergency Response Team Member.
  • Offshore Lifeboat Coxswain.
  • Scaffold Appreciation.
  • Tanker Familiarisation Training.
  • Environmental Awareness.
  • Maximo.
  • Dangerous Goods by Sea & Air.
  • Helicopter Refuelling.
