Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Paediatric Nurse to join our team as a Practice Educator. As a Practice Educator, you will be responsible for delivering and facilitating in-house clinical skills training to our Social Care Staff, ensuring they are competent to deliver efficient and safe care to our children and young people.

Main Duties

As a Practice Educator, you will:

  • Deliver and facilitate in-house clinical skills training to Social Care Staff
  • Ensure staff are competent to deliver clinical procedures
  • Provide ongoing advice and support to staff to ensure they feel confident in their role
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and those allied to health and social care to ensure high-quality care

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Registration with the NMC as a Paediatric Nurse
  • Experience working with complex needs children
  • Experience of teaching, training, and assessments
  • Reliable, hardworking, reflective, and team-player qualities
