Business Development Manager

Job Description:
A consultative Account Manager with great people skills is wanted for a leading Sage reseller in the UK. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in solutions sales and account management working with accounting or ERP software clients. The role is fully home-based, covering the UK, with occasional travel to clients and one day every two weeks in the office in the East Midlands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and build relationships with existing clients, inspiring trust and confidence, and ensuring they are happy and satisfied with their service offering.
- Spot and optimize opportunities to sell and promote additional products and services.
- Manage accounts to maximize profits, keep customers informed of company and product news through meetings and seminars, produce quotes and proposals, and maintain accurate CRM records.
- Deliver quality presentations, build long-term relationships, and client loyalty.
Requirements:
- Must have worked as an account manager on application software selling software licenses and services.
- Experience with Sage products, such as Sage 200, Sage X3, Sage 500, Sage Construct, or Sage Intacct, is a bonus.
- Ability to converse with people in an engaging manner, deliver quality presentations, and build long-term relationships and client loyalty.
