Teaching Mathematics in Horncastle

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join our team at a school in Horncastle. The role involves covering a maternity leave and will last until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of extension.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mathematics and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). They should also have experience teaching in secondary schools and possess an Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service.

The successful applicant will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality lesson plans that engage pupils and promote active participation. They will work closely with students to support their learning and adapt activities to meet individual needs.

In addition to teaching responsibilities, the successful candidate will contribute to the development of strategies to improve student performance in GCSE maths.

The role offers a competitive daily rate of £162.31-£223.62 and includes benefits such as CPD training through the National College and access to opportunities in the area.
