SSE Enterprise is seeking a seasoned Site Construction Manager to spearhead the construction of a vital substation in the north of Scotland. As part of our initiative to connect Orkney to the UK grid for the first time, you will be responsible for managing this 220/132KV Substation from the ground up.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the delivery of a critical infrastructure project. As a Site Construction Manager, you will ensure that all site operations align with statutory, legal, and company Health and Safety regulations, alongside Construction (Design and Management) Regulations.

You will collaborate closely with contractors and stakeholders to deliver the works safely and within budget. Your expertise in on-site management, health and safety, and quality monitoring will be essential in ensuring compliance with planning consents and SHE legislation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent SSE Enterprise on-site and manage the interface with contractors and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, including CDM 2015.
  • Collaborate with contractors and stakeholders to deliver the project safely and within budget.
  • Monitor compliance with planning consents and SHE legislation.
What We Offer
