Opportunity for a Mammography Advanced Practitioner

Job Summary:

Hunter AHP is seeking a highly skilled Mammography Advanced Practitioner to join our team on a full-time locum basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing intervention cover in breast assessment and breast symptomatic clinics, performing 14G breast biopsies, 10G VAB, and localisation procedures such as magseeds/hook wire procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality mammography services to patients
  • Perform 14G breast biopsies, 10G VAB, and localisation procedures
  • Work collaboratively with the breast imaging team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of breast imaging protocols

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate certificate in Mammography
  • Postgraduate module in X-Ray Guided Breast Interventional Biopsy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
