About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Customer Services Advisor to join our dedicated and friendly customer services team at DPD Group UK. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in helping both internal and external customers with their parcel collection and delivery queries.

You will work closely with our Drivers, Shift Managers, and Operations Managers to identify issues, proactively problem solve, and take accountability and ownership for resolving these issues. Your primary focus will be on:

  • Providing accurate and timely information to customers regarding delivery status and supplying Proof of Delivery (POD)
  • Conducting thorough investigations for missing parcels and resolving delivery disputes

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Proven experience working in a fast-paced customer service environment
  • Strong communication skills with a confident telephone manner and the ability to build a quick rapport with customers
  • Polite and professional demeanor at all times, with a willingness to go the extra mile to exceed customer expectations
  • Excellent administration skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • High levels of self-motivation and initiative to effectively problem solve
