Caregiver/Companion

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Health Assistant to provide top-notch care for our clients in Hastings and surrounding areas. As a valued member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our patients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Provide mobility assistance using slide boards and other equipment
• Perform range-of-motion exercises to maintain flexibility and mobility
• Offer support with commode use and bowel/bladder management
• Help with light housekeeping duties, including cleaning and cooking
• Transport clients safely within the service area using our handicap van

To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate integrity. You should also be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have a strong attention to detail.

Requirements:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required
• You must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• CPR certification is necessary for this position
• You must pass a thorough background check and drug screen
