Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our Decommissioning & Waste Services market within our Nuclear & Power business. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in Systems Engineering and experience with key methodologies such as architecture definition, Pugh matrices, and interface management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply Systems Engineering processes, methods, and tools to a wide variety of projects across our nuclear decommissioning and waste management portfolio.
  • Support the development of our Systems Engineering capability within our market and assist in the continual development of our capability.
  • Work alongside the Systems Engineering Capability Lead and others to develop and grow the newly established Systems Engineering capability.
  • Contribute to the definition of new ways of doing things and will be constantly looking for ways to improve how things are done.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues in multiple disciplines, technical and non-technical, to help integrate multi-disciplinary worksteams.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable understanding of the application of a Systems Engineering approach to design.
  • Experience with key Systems Engineering methodologies and tools such as IBM DOORS and MBSE tools like Capella or Sparx EA.
  • Ability to work in an environment where processes have not yet been defined and to propose appropriate courses of action.
  • Adaptability in applying experience and knowledge of systems engineering to different approaches and clients.
