**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Cover Supervisor to lead our cover team in ensuring the effective supervision of classes. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and deploying daily cover arrangements for planned and unplanned staff absences.

About the Role:

The Cover Supervisor Lead will be an integral part of our team, working closely with teachers and support staff to ensure the smooth delivery of lessons. You will be responsible for managing the cover team, ensuring that they are equipped to provide high-quality support to students.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the cover team in the coordination and deployment of daily cover arrangements.
  2. Ensure effective supervision of classes, including managing student behavior and maintaining a safe learning environment.
  3. Work closely with teachers and support staff to ensure the smooth delivery of lessons.
  4. Manage the cover team's performance, providing feedback and coaching as needed.

Requirements:

  • GCSE's or equivalent, including Maths and English at a C grade or above.
  • Previous experience of working with children, including those with complex needs or challenging behavior.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
