Electrical Production Engineer Role

In this critical position, you will play a pivotal role in supporting operations by designing and developing test equipment for sub-assembly and LRU/RMA testing, creating test plans, and providing technical expertise to enhance processes and resolve technical issues in production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the interface between Engineering and Production teams from a test perspective, determining in-process testing requirements to improve build quality and reduce rework time.
  • Provide electrical and test support to resolve engineering production issues, minimizing production delays.
  • Design and develop test equipment, and assist in the procurement of equipment, jigs, and fixtures.
  • Develop test plans and procedures, and coordinate production engineering processes to ensure high-quality products meet customer requirements.
  • Support the implementation of Change Requests (CRs) in collaboration with Engineering.
  • Identify, develop, and implement process improvements to enhance production capacity, quality, and reliability, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist the quality department with inspections and investigations.
  • Aid in budget preparation and monitor expenses.
  • Perform engineering analysis to reduce downtime and outages in test and production assembly equipment.
  • Fault-find electromechanical equipment, investigate problems, analyze root causes, and provide resolutions.
