Legal Counsel

Anakin Seal Legal is seeking an experienced lawyer to join our team as an in-house counsel, advising on a variety of insurance-related issues.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyzing terms of new and renewal business to identify exposures and ensure compliance with agreed-upon terms and corporate guidelines.
- Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating underwriting agreements, nondisclosure agreements, and other contracts that comply with company policies and risk tolerance.
- Supporting the continuous improvement of standard form agreements and legal processes, and assisting in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures.
- Providing support to underwriters and claims personnel on legal issues related to submissions and coverage.
- Minimum 8 years of PQE with strong experience in insurance or reinsurance coverage litigation or arbitration.
- Experience drafting commercial insurance contracts.
- An adaptable lawyer able to advise on a wide variety of areas of law.
