About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Strategic Supply Chain Director to lead our procurement efforts in the construction sector.

Job Summary:

This is an exceptional opportunity to join our team as a Strategic Supply Chain Director, where you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sourcing strategies aligned with our infrastructure construction strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and executing strategic sourcing plans to meet business objectives
  • Managing and leading cross-functional teams to deliver procurement solutions
  • Negotiating and finalising contracts with external suppliers
  • Ensuring commercial performance of contractors and contract delivery
  • Building and maintaining relationships with strategic suppliers
  • Coordinating end-to-end procurement processes to resolve customer and supplier issues effectively

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in supply chain management, preferably in the construction industry
  • Detailed knowledge of JCT and NEC construction contracts
  • Experience in developing construction strategies and managing teams of supply chain professionals
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including a pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance, and a share incentive plan.
