About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Protection Compliance Specialist to join our team at Diligenta. As a Senior Data Protection Specialist Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the compliance of our clients' data protection policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the DP Manager in implementing and maintaining data protection policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
  • Provide advice and guidance to internal teams on data protection best practices.
  • Collaborate with the Data Champions Manager to ensure effective data protection governance.
  • Represent the team in corporate projects to ensure changes are GDPR compliant.

Requirements

  • Strong technical understanding of ICO requirements.
  • Knowledgeable about UK GDPR/Data Protection Act 2018 and related privacy legislation.
  • Experience in working in a project environment or project management.
  • Capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
